Both Sakaki and Maya looked up at the knock, Sakaki meeting it with a somewhat surprised blink, and Maya meeting it with a meow that wasn't nearly as mighty as he thought it was.
"Oh," Sakaki said. "Harry. You're back."
Eyes immediately trying to look behind him to see if Hedwig was there, too? What? No!

And that's when she realized there might actually be an issue with the fact that she'd come back with her own pet, too, and looked down at the cat, who was now looking at her curiously, as if wondering if this person was a problem that needed to be taken care of.
"Harry," she then added, looking back. "This is Maya. Maya," back to the cat, "this is Harry. He's my roommate here, at school."
